ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for the competition, participants must:

  • Hold a current entry to the 2026 Trail Challenge Waihi event.

  • Complete and submit the competition entry form on this page.

  • Enter the event and complete the competition entry by 30 August 2026

The winner will be drawn at random and contacted by email after the competition closes.

By submitting this form, you're confirming that you'd like to be included in the draw and that the accommodation prize would be suitable for you.

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Entry into the competition is open to all participants who enter Trail Challenge Waihi 2026 event, and competition sign up, before the advertised competition closing date.

  1. One winner will receive the Ultimate Waihi Weekend Escape Prize Pack, which includes:

    • Accommodation for two people at Highland Lodge

    • A $150 local dining voucher

    • $300 Merrell voucher

    • $150 PURE Sports Nutrition voucher

    • One running shoe necklace

  2. The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries and notified via email and/or phone.

  3. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

  4. The accommodation prize is valid only for the Trail Challenge Waihi event weekend (13–15 November 2026) and cannot be transferred, deferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.

  5. Any additional costs associated with claiming or using the prize, including travel, transport, meals (other than those covered by the dining voucher), and incidental expenses, are the responsibility of the winner.

  6. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of the prize draw, or is unable to accept the prize, Trail Events NZ reserves the right to redraw the prize.

  7. Trail Events NZ reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize with a similar item of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

  8. By entering the competition, participants agree that their name and photograph may be used by Trail Events NZ for promotional purposes relating to the competition and its outcome.

  9. Trail Events NZ reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the competition if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
